Kyle Whittingham conditioned his starting quarterback's job in public at his Oklahoma-week press conference on Monday morning, saying Bryce Underwood is Michigan's quarterback right now and that the job is not something that's infinite. The quarterback room behind Underwood is one true freshman: Whittingham put the practice split at 80-20 and said Tommy Carr is the only other quarterback who gets reps. Underwood was 12 of 22 for 170 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 13-12 win over Western Michigan. The opponent on Saturday is the one he completed 9 of 24 against in Norman last September, the lowest completion rate of the fourteen college games he has played.
