Privacy
Short version: this site collects almost nothing, because it is a stack of static files.

The short version
Grab Some Pine is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment system, no newsletter signup, and no shopping cart. There is nothing here to create a profile with.
What is collected
Aggregate traffic analytics. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals. It reports things like how many people visited a page, roughly where in the world they were, and which site linked them here. It does not build a profile of you, and it cannot follow you to other websites.
Standard server logs. Like every website, requests reach a web server, and that server processes your IP address in order to send you the page. These logs are handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.
What is not collected
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No advertising or tracking pixels from social networks.
- No email addresses, because there is nothing to sign up for.
- No names, no payment information, no location beyond the country-level guess in aggregate analytics.
- Nothing is sold or shared with data brokers, because nothing is collected that could be.
Links to other sites
Articles here link to other publications. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's website under their privacy policy, which will almost certainly collect more than this one does.
RSS
The feed is a plain XML file. Subscribing is invisible to this site; no signup, no record of who is reading.
If advertising is ever added
This site currently runs no advertising. If that changes, this page gets updated before any ad code goes live, not after, and it will say plainly what the ad network collects and how to opt out. Third-party advertising typically involves cookies and cross-site tracking, which is a meaningfully different bargain than the one described above, and it would be dishonest to quietly slide from one to the other.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects nothing from them.
Questions
If something here is unclear or you want to know what is stored about a visit, ask. The honest answer is almost certainly "nothing that identifies you."
